I'm a trainer and assessor with Westvic and also a Course Coordinator for Balance Training Services. I 've had 20 years plus experience in the VET sector with my first teaching job at Box Hill TAFE in Melbourne as a cooking teacher with apprentices and within full time certificate courses as well as short courses for industry. I have a special interest in the disability sector having recently completed a Diploma of Disability.
In the VET sector it is important to keep building on and expanding your knowedge base to maintain your vocational competencies but also to keep up with VET generally.
I hope to be able to share my knowledge of the VET sector throughout the course and facilitate participants to reach their goal of becoming trainers in their VET sector.
